Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A recent gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the eu news channel initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
